Disability Priority Agenda

This week on the ARISE podcast, Tania Anderson, CEO of ARISE, talks with
Nina Lutz, Director of Independent Living Services about the disability
priority agenda. The agenda is a New York state funding wish list for programs
that benefit people with disabilities. Anderson and Lutz say educating voters
and state lawmakers is of continuing importance to secure funding for the state’s
Independent Living Centers, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, and the Fair Pay for Home Care Act.
